Beta alums will also be glad to know that we have retained the Inglenook in the new building. We also discovered that Dr. Hugh Stephenson has copies of the composites back to 1923 and they will be saved to a computer along with other historical items. The plan is to have a space in the Inglenook area where we can look these items up and have them displayed on a screen.
Demolition began in late May, and construction of the foundation and building has begun. The photo to the left shows the project status at the end of July, and the photos at the bottom of the page show the demolition from earlier in the summer. We also have four Live Webcams documenting the construction every day. To see the progress in Internet Explorer, visit http://74.84.80.53:8080/index.htm. At the login screen, enter the username beta and leave the password field blank. If you do not immediately see images from four separate cameras, click on the Multi-Screen icon (fourth from the right) at the bottom of the screen. To switch back & forth between all four cameras and a single camera, click on the square icons at the far left at the bottom of the screen, and use the "up" and "down" arrows to switch between full-screen images.
