The Zeta Phi Chapter of Beta Theta Pi will be adding a new class of approximately 40 pledges in the Fall of 2011. A smaller number of men also pledge during each Spring semester. Our Chapter focuses on recruiting the most outstanding scholars, leaders, athletes and gentlemen on campus. Our membership is composed of ambitious men motivated to face challenges and conquer obstacles on the way to achieving their goals. Betas can be found leading their teams to victory on the athletic field; making the crucial decision in the student senate; accepting the scholarship plaque from the academic honorary; enjoying the company of brothers and alumni at homecoming weekend; or socializing with others at one of the chapter’s many social events. While pledging occurs in the Fall, Rush is typically a stretched out process that runs from February through July. The Chapter will plan parties, ball games and dinners throughout this Summer across Missouri, and interested candidates can contact the appropriate Rush Chairman below to find out details. Head Rush Chairman and Recruitment through Scholarship: In addition to our Chapter’s Rush activities, University of Missouri’s Formal Recruitment takes place June 24-25, 2011. Recruitment events begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24 and end Saturday, June 25 no later than 6:00 p.m. The registration fee for Formal Recruitment is $95, which covers the cost of room and board in the Mizzou residence halls for 2 days and 1 night, as well as all fees associated with recruitment. This registation fee is non-refundable. The deadline for registration is Friday, June 17, 2010. Formal recruitment offers prospective members the ability to explore all 28 chapters during one summer event on campus.
